Whalesong Glencairn, Cape Town, South Africa

This extraordinary home boasts magnificent ocean and mountain views that will leave you in awe with every sunrise and sunset.  The vast waters of False Bay are a glorious sight from the patio and living room, and a wood-burning fireplace makes it the perfect spot for cozy winters gazing out onto rough seas.

With close proximity to the beach and many quaint dining spots, this home is a holiday makers dream throughout the year.

Elegant living areas with bright pops of colour reflect the eclectic artistic flair of the area.  Three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on various levels provide shower and bath facilities with plenty of space and privacy for everyone.  A modern, fully-equipped kitchen and Wi-Fi provide all the convenience you need for your stay amidst the beauty of Cape Town’s natural wonders.

Around 35km outside the City of Cape Town, Glencairn lies a stone throw away from the village of Simon’s Town.  Encoved by the shores of False Bay and magnificent mountain ranges, the area boasts exquisite beaches, lush vegetation and an impressive array of fauna and flora.  Simon’s Town is the residence of the South African navy and is steeped in history with cobbled streets, restored cottages and small museums.

An array of delightful eateries, from quaint coffee shops to pubs serving the freshest of seafood line the main road.

Aside from the wonderful views from the seaside restaurants, it is the beaches of Simon’s Town that are a real drawcard.  Boulders Beach is home to an African penguin colony and also a popular swimming beach.  A golf course with breathtaking sea views makes for glorious days enjoying the surrounds while traversing the greens.  Cape Point Nature Reserve, home to 1100 indigenous plant species, some of which occur nowhere else on earth, and one of the highest sea cliffs in the world at 249m above sea level make for magnificent hikes and biking trails.
